This spring Cleveland High School is putting together a musical. The musical is called “Murder at Crooked House”. Who doesn’t love musicals?

Monday, April 8, at 4:00pm six sophomores at Cleveland High School anxiously received an update to their status on the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) website.

Mindy McCready, a country singer famous for late 90s hits, was found dead of apparent suicide on Sunday, February 17th.

It would take someone that lives under a rock to not know what happened Tuesday.

The Writing Club at Cleveland High is a relatively quiet club, only really poking its head out to deliver cookies to students at Christmas time. But this year, they plan on getting a lot done. Most notably they will be introducing a literary magazine to the school.

Many people tuned in Thursday night to watch NC State take on No. 4 Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

A show about Vikings may make people think of documentaries on mythology and old museums with rusting weapons. The History Channel, however, takes the idea of presenting a real story with creativity to a new level with their new show, appropriately names, Vikings.

BlackBoxTV is a channel on YouTube that focuses on creating stand alone short episodes and films of horror and suspense. The channel was created by Tony E. Valenzuela and now holds the attention of over 300,000 subscribers. Directors include George Streicher and Dan Trachtenberg.

There are many genres of music out there and everyone has differing tastes. When you go to a concert you’re not guaranteed to like the opener which is sad but true.
